David and Bonnie met while they were students at Roanoke Bible College. David graduated from RBC with a degree in Bible while Bonnie finished her degree in History at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The two were married in June 1996.

Ella and Jane were born in Newport News, VA in January of 2004 amidst snow flurries on the Virginia Peninsula.

David worked with three different churches in Virginia over the past 17 years before answering the call to move to New Bern and start Two Rivers Church of Christ. He is passionate about seeing people come to know who God is and His plan for their lives. David's desire is to follow God and help Him build a community of believers in Craven County, NC.

Krystal has already spent a year in Thailand doing mission work and she will add much to the ministry of Two Rivers Church.
